Hafeni Brothers Adventures cooperates closely with Hafeni Cultural Tours, a company which not only offers township and city tours, but offers visitors an insight into the real culture of Swakopmund and Namibia.

Hafeni Cultural Tours is a 100% locally owned tour-operating company in Swakopmund, which has been operating since 2010. Principal Mr. Heinrich Hafeni Nghidipaya, who was born in Mondesa,Swakopmund created the business after being an overland tour guide for 6 years in Africa. He left his job at the age of 28 and started up his own township tour business in his community with the goal of giving visitors a true sense of a place through its history and its traditions.

Hafeni Cultural Tours lets you interact with the rich authentic Namibian culture and their community. Walking around the Township, by day or by night, you get the opportunity to visit homes, schools, Kindergartens, informal settlements, local craft markets and welfare organizations (orphanage homes). You get to try the authentic, traditional food and experience firsthand the lifestyle and Mondesas history and cultural diversity. The township of Mondesa was established in the early 1960s to provide housing for the black community working in Swakopmund. It boasts one of the lowest crime rates across all 13 regions of Namibia, as the people of Mondesa co-exist in harmony with each other. You will see for yourself when you are taken as guests to the colorful shebeen (local bars) to sample the local homemade traditional brewed beer and soft drinks.
